Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey 2018-2019 programme— I'm so pleased that you could join us as we delve in to matters of the environment both here in New Zealand, and across the rest of our world, too.
Thanks for providing us with your '3 Top Facts' about New Zealand. I'm pleased to see something a bit different here, other students within Kootuitui have not yet mentioned your Fact # 1— can you tell me where in New Zealand this steep street is? Fact # 2— I had no idea that we're the first country to get Christmas... can you tell me when this was? Fact # 3— this sounds very cheeky of the Kea, but equally distressing because I can't imagine rubber being very good for them. Do you know why they do this?
I look forward to your response Ava, keep up the great work.
